Fashion Craving: Alexander McQueen Twin Skulls Bracelet
Two years ago, I bought this one in silver but returned it as I couldn’t justify whether I should spend that much of money on a piece of fashion jewelry that I may not wear often. I regret every moment now and then, I couldn’t find the silver one anymore! When I was hopeless, it reappears to me again in ssense.com but in gold this time. Any thoughts? I like the red stones though, hesitate about gold jewelry.
Remember this Alexander Wang Motorcycle Jacket with goastskin leather sleeves back earlier 2011? Yes, almost every Holloywood stars had it. I was drooling it for the longest time, but couldn’t afford the pretty price tag.
To my surprise, I discovered this lock off from Danier outlet in Markham when I was waiting for my husband’s ride! This jacket was having extra 30% on top of the discounted collection, I couldn’t be happier!!!! J’adore the light wash and of course the leather sleeves. \what do you think?
I am wearing denim jacket: Danier, sweater: Gap, jean: Cheap Monday, ankle boots: Giuseppe Zanotti, bag: Zara, necklace: ModCloth.com , sunglasses: Celine
Hands down, I adore these Prada babies. Don’t you love these fierce pumps?Argh, they are oh-so-hot, I cannot take my eyes off on these Prada babies. With the extra ‘tumbo’ on my back, I bet I may walk <a bit> faster in them. anyways, I MUST have score a pair next season. That is a mission.
My husband and I went to Old Mill Inn & Spa last week for our pre-wedding anniversary. The spa and services were two thumbs up!! I highly recommended people to go there for a mini getaway.
I didn’t take a lot of pictures of what I was wearing as we were in a rush for dinner. Yet, I want to show you this faux fur vest is one of my wardrobe staples that wear non stop last fall/winter. I still love it so much, it’s easy to mix & match. What’s your wardrobe staple?
I am wearing faux fur vest: Lanvin for H&M, shirt: Muji (Japan), necklace: Forever21, pants: J.Crew, ankle boots: Le Chateau, purse: YSL
Yes, I love leather and studs. This pair of gloves satisfied both of my wants. I cannot find them anywhere in Toronto though. I wish zara shopping available online soon, so I don’t have to call the stores all the time.
I had mentioned this post that I have feverish on sequin lately. This clutch is the best accessories to go for any Christmas outfit. Too bad, it is too small for me to stuffs ‘my life’ in(aka camera, fat wallet, ancient iphone & my son’s toys). I told my friends that my purse is getting bigger along with my son’s age. This goes opposite to my theory, so it can only sit in my WISH list.
I think I am a professional match makers! Last weekend was my friend, Jess & Greg’s wedding. The couple and I used to work in the same company together few years ago, but the couple never met each other. Until one day Greg was about the leave the company, and I dragged Jess (the bride of the day) to the farewell party at Jack Astor few years ago. Then.. Greg said he loved at the first sight over and they live happily ever after..so happy for them.
Yes, Missy Man Repeller (aka Leandra Medine) came to Toronto last Tue for Holt Renfrew’s blog, Holt Muse. It was a fabulous experience to finally meet this New York based fashion blogger. Her quirky style including clogs, stacks of bangle/bracelets (called “arm party” in Ms Medine’s words) and full body jumpers are definitely “women love but men hate”. J’ adore her fear-less on challenging fashion boundaries and of course her sense of humor. It’s my pleasure meeting you, Man Repeller!
What’s my man-repelling move? I wore shinny sequin in the morning. My husband said I am so over-the-top wearing this evening material during the day and guess what? Ms Medine understood this and approved my little glitter skirt! Success! I am thrilled. I was in a serious sequin mode these days, I bet because of X’mas is is around the corner or I just need to maximize my chances to wear skirt before the snow hits Toronto.
I’m wearing Gold Glitter Sequin skirt: The Moon Apparel (the Bay), Tank Top: U2 (from Hong Kong), Cropped jacket: BeBe, Patent Shoes: Aldo, my “arm party”: Tiffany, David Yurman, and Hermes.

Fashion Craving: Chanel Nail Polish for Spring 2012
Another eye-candy for Chanel. I have a such a feverish on Chanel’s nail polish ever since I got the Nouvelle Vague (style no. 527) few seasons ago. The colors are no doubt vibrant, but the quality is definitely two thumbs up- fast to dry, long-lasting and easy to apply. One coat already did the magic! Just because April is my birthday month, I’m coveting this rosy fuchsia “April” color. Don’t you love these fruity nail polishes? They simply brighten up my winter blues. They will be available in all Chanel stores in Jan 2012.
Let it snow, let it snow, let is snow..I cannot believe X’mas is just one month from now and I def. need to hurry up doing some Christmas shopping before I head back to HK in Dec. When shopping for myself my son, I came across this pretty snow ball by Karl Lagerfeld and the stuffed toy. Aren’t they super adorable?! I truely believe my son will need this Uncle Karl stuffed toy! Sadly, they are only available in Europe and Singapore. I guess it is time to call some friends in Singapore !!
